Mullein, Leaf With Flower
Verbascum phlomoides L.
Application: In bronchitis with copious bronchial secretions, bronchial asthma, whooping cough, acute catarrh of the upper respiratory tract, in a hoarse voice, inflammatory diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, diarrhea, liver and biliary diseases. Externally for gargle and rinsing the mouth and throat, for baths in scrofula.
Effect: Softening, anti-inflammatory and expectorant.
How to use: brew 1 tablespoon of the herb for 5-10 min in 250 ml of boiling water. Drink 1 wineglass 2-3 times a day.
