Usage: Primrose has antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic and expectorant effect. It is generally used in the case of cough, bronchitis, headache, neuralgia, and tremor. Root primrose stimulates the secretion of mucus and gives excellent results in the treatment of bronchitis and its symptoms. Flower has slightly sedative properties. Tea made from the flower of primrose is useful in treatment of anxiety, stress and insomnia. 

Natural range: Primrose is widespread in temperate areas of Europe and Asia. It can be found in open spaces, meadows, coastal dunes and cliff tops.

Description: Primrose is a perennial plant. It has hairy, oblong oval leaves, green in color. Blooms from May to June.

Usable parts: root, leaves, flowers.

Beneficial ingredients: saponins, flavonoids, phenols, tannins, essential oil.

Directions: Brew 2 tablespoons of the herb with 300 ml of boiling water and filter after 15 minutes. Drink 100 ml three times daily.
