Calendula officinalis L.

Application: For treatment of ulcers of stomach and duodenum. It is also used for gastrointestinal, biliary, cardiovascular, skin diseases, eczema, wounds, difficult healing wounds, inflammation of the gums and mouth, eczema, rosacea, skin spots, acne, burns, etc.

Effect: The herb has proven antimicrobial effect and ability to accelerate wound healing.

Usage: * Apply spirit infusion of the flowers (1:5) for internal use 30-40 drops 3 times a day and externally as a compress and lavement in greater dilution.

* Infusion – brew 2 tablespoons with 500 ml boiling water for 15 min. Drink 150 ml 3 times a day before meals during one month.
