Action: appetite stimulating, cholagogue, improving digestion, antirheumatic, antibacterial, diuretic. The local irritant effect of horseradish binds to sinigrin glycoside which releases upon hydrolysis alilsinapeno essential oil. This action determines irritant receptors stimulate digestion and antirheumatic and antidiuretic effect.

Application: Used for anorexia, failure of bile secretion, rheumatism, edematous conditions, diabetes, inflammatory conditions such as spice.

Directions: Consume roots are grated, seasoned with vinegar (as a spice and for the treatment of anorexia) mixed with yogurt 1:10 (for diabetes) or with honey in the ratio 1: 1 (stimulating digestion) 1 tablespoon before meals, three times a day. It can be used juice from fresh roots.
