Discover one of nature’s most valuable gifts – spruce needles. More than just part of an evergreen tree known for its beauty and resilience, spruce needles are rich in bioactive compounds that have been used for centuries in folk and herbal medicine. Today, they are increasingly popular for making tea, steam inhalations, wellness baths, and even for natural aromatherapy at home.
Origin & Harvest
Spruce (Picea abies) is a coniferous tree found mainly in mountainous and forested areas across Europe, including Bulgaria, Austria, Germany, Slovakia, and other parts of Central and Northern Europe. The needles are hand-harvested in early spring, when they are still young, vibrant, and rich in essential oils.
To preserve their natural properties, the needles are gently dried in the shade at low temperatures – ensuring their aroma, color, and active components are retained.
