Applications: In sand and stones in the kidneys and bladder, gastrointestinal cramps, constipation, boils, skin cancer, epilepsy, etc.
Effect: Analgesic, anti-inflammatory, disinfectant, diuretic.
Description: Annual herb with rough winged four-edged stem. The leaves are arranged in vertebrae, the edges are with studs. Flowers are small and white, collected in semi-umbels with four-leaved corolla accreted at the base, with four stamens and without chalice. The fruit is spiny, dry and falling apart.
Usable parts: The upper part is used, collected during the flowering.
Directions: pour 2 tablespoons of the herb with 400 ml of boiling water and leave aside to soak for 1 hour. Strain the infusion and drink one glass of wine 4 times a day before meals.
