Juniperus communis L.

Application: In excess stomach acid, painful menstruation, coughs and externally for rheumatism. In chronic inflammation of kidneys and bladder.

Effect: Diuretic, anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic, calming the nerve, uro-antiseptic, stimulating digestion, has a mild hypotensive effect.

Directions: Pour 2 teaspoons of crushed fruits with 250 ml of boiling water. Strain after 3 hours and drink in sips within 1 day. For skin rashes chew 1 berry, increasing the number of consumed fruits by 1 piece each day to 15 pieces daily. Then every day reduce by one berry.
