Application of the herb ashwagandha
Ashwagandha or "Indian ginseng" is a herb with proven action in Ayurvedic medicine, which rejuvenates and improves the mental health of the body. The herb makes us more resistant to stress, fatigue and insomnia thanks to the phytochemicals contained in it. It has antidepressant, antioxidant, adaptogenic action, which are a key factor for longevity and good health. Contraindications and side effects of ashwagandha
the herb is not recommended for use in hyperthyroidism and pregnancy. In high doses it can have a hypnotic effect as well as cause intestinal problems. Its intake should begin with small doses, which should be gradually increased. It is best to take the herb in the evening, because in high doses it can have a sedative (calming) effect.
How to use ashwagandha
1 tsp add to 150 ml of boiling water, boil on low heat for 10 minutes, strain and drink. It is prepared 1-2 times a day.
