Delicious, ripe tomatoes, diced and dried, without any additional processing. The drying process also helps the tomatoes capture the natural flavors of fully ripe fresh tomatoes.

When dried, tomatoes lose most of their water content, but retain their sweetness and nutrients, and what you're left with is a delicious sun-dried tomato with an absolutely amazing and intense, concentrated flavor of freshly picked tomatoes. They are perfect for use in dishes where you really want that wonderful tomato flavor to shine.

Most notably, tomatoes contain high levels of lycopene, the preventative phytonutrient that protects the skin from cell-damaging free radicals.

The dried tomato we offer does not contain any artificial additives, not even salt! So we are sure that we provide you with a completely natural product with all its valuable taste and nutritional qualities.

How to use Dried tomatoes

Great as a condiment, base for sauces or even as a colorful, flavorful garnish.
Sun-dried tomatoes also add an intense burst of sweet tomato flavor when added to dough, bread, pies.
They are added to soups, pizzas or dressings.
To use in dishes that will not be cooked/heated, blanch sun-dried tomatoes for 30 seconds in boiling water to bring out their flavor and soften their texture. And if you're making a soup or stew, be sure to save and use that water to soak tomatoes!

A quick recipe for Aromatic Dried Tomatoes in Olive Oil

¾ teaspoon sea salt

1 ½ cups warm tap water

½ cup sun-dried tomatoes

1 cup extra virgin olive oil

A generous pinch of red chillies (optional)

1. In a medium microwave-safe bowl, stir the salt into the water until dissolved. Add the tomatoes, cover the bowl with a plate or plastic wrap, and microwave for 2 minutes until the tomatoes expand.

2. Carefully remove the bowl from the microwave and allow the tomatoes to cool completely in the water. Drain the tomatoes and place them on kitchen paper to dry.

3. Place the tomatoes in a small jar or storage container, seal and refrigerate for up to 1 week. If desired, sprinkle chili flakes over the tomatoes in the jar, then cover them with olive oil. Seal the jar and refrigerate for up to 1 month.
