Application: For fever, tonsillitis, bronchitis, coughs, colds. For the treatment of urinary tract infections, impotence, gout. For baths in skin rashes, hemorrhoids, rheumatism. For inhalation in hoarseness and irritation of the upper respiratory tract.
Effect: The flowers of elderberry have diaphoretic, expectorant and smoothing action.
