Application: In case of diarrhea, gastrointestinal infections, night sweating. Mild diuretic for kidney stones, in gout, in liver inflammation. Decoction used as a compress on wetting and bleeding wounds. For gargle in bad breath in the mouth. Externally is applied to hemorrhoids (in the form of poultice).
Effect: dilates blood vessels, lowers blood pressure, slows heartbeat and enhances the contractile ability of the heart and uterus.
How to use: pour 1 tablespoon of the herb in 250 ml of boiling water and leave it to soak for 2 hours. Drink 1 wineglass three times daily before meals.
