Water Mint

Mentha aquatica

Mint is a perennial herbaceous plant from the family lipped. It is distributed mainly in the northern temperate zone. Widespread about 9 species with numerous variations, among which is cultivated M. piperita - black mint.

Application: It is recommended for stomach complaints as a choleretic agent. It is considered that abdominal colic relieving effect of water mint is superior to that of peppermint.

Directions: In the form of infusion – brew 2 tablespoons finely chopped drug in 1 cup of boiling water. Drink in sips during 1 day.
