VERATRUM VIRIDE CH 9, BOIRON

Source: Green hellebore, family Liliaceae.

Symptoms: Sudden cerebral congestion, accompanied sometimes with furibunden delirium, seizures or throwing the head on the pillow. Severe congestion in the head with red or cyanotic face and bloodshot eyes. Xerostomia dry red stripe down the middle of the tongue which is white or yellowish. Bradycardia and heart rate during mild acute symptoms of congestion in the head with a pale face when sitting and sweating. Frequent occurrence of concomitant hiccups.

Indications: Hypertensive crisis with the risk of cerebrovascular accident. Vasomotor congestion in sudden-acute hypertensive crisis, hot flushes during the menopause, alcoholism, migraine and others. Severe sunstroke.
