Stigmata Maydis

Application: In stones and gravel in kidneys and bladder, chronic kidney inflammation and edema, stasis of bile and liver and biliary diseases. In diabetes, as appetite suppressant agent for weight loss, as emollient, in atherosclerosis.

Effect: Diuretic, astringent, cholagogue, sedative, diuretic.

Directions: Brew 2 tablespoons of the herb with 1/2 L of boiling water for 10 minutes. Divide the dose into three portions and drink within a day.
