Application: In bronchitis, cough with thick secretions, gout, rheumatism, as a diuretic agent, in variety of skin diseases, rashes, eczemas.
Effect: Expectorant, anti-inflammatory and diuretic, diaphoretic and purifying the blood.
Warning: In high doses causes irritation of the gastro-intestinal tract with nausea, vomiting and diarrhea.
Directions: Prepare an infusion of 2 teaspoons of the herb with 250ml of boiling water. Cool and strain. Take 1 tablespoon 3-4 times daily.
