The roots of shatavari or asparagus racemosus have galactagogue, antispasmodic, appetizer, cooling, tonic and aphrodisiac properties.
Action: Asparagus is a herb that regulates hormonal secretion. Shatavari acts as a galactagogue and is useful in promoting lactation.
Indications: Reduced breast milk secretion in nursing women. Menopausal and postmenopausal symptoms.
Dosage: One capsule, twice a day, before meals.
Since himalaya pure herbs are in capsule form, some children below 14 years may find it difficult to swallow them. Himalaya pure herbs are recommended for children who are 14 years or older.
