Bindweed Herba Cut, Convolvulus arvensis, stem 

Convolvulus arvensis L.

Application: Appropriate for chronic constipation as it induces a rapid and strong effect , accompanied by pain and colic. Applicable in congestive jaundice, difficult urination and in inflammation of the prostate gland.

Effect: purgative and cholagogue.

Warning: In large quantities herb is poisonous. Can cause diarrhea, damage to the heart, kidneys, liver, etc. Causes bleeding. Should be used with caution. Do not administer to children.

Chemical composition: Contains glycoside tarry substance with a strong laxative effect, tannins, vitamin C, etc.

Directions: Prepare an infusion of 1 teaspoon herb soaked for 1 hour in 250 ml of boiling water and drink in 2 days 3 times a day.
