Shepherd's Purse Stem

Capsella bursa-pastoris (L.)

Application: In uterine bleeding and high blood pressure. In bleeding hemorrhoids, bleedings in the stomach and intestines.

Effect: Styptic, tonic to uterus, hypotensive.

Warnings: Do not use during pregnancy! There is a risk of bleeding!

Directions: Soak 2 tablespoons of the herb in 1 liter of water. After 8 hours filter the extract and drink during 1 day. Also applied as alcohol extract - 1 part herb to 5 parts alcohol.
