Centaurea cyanus L.

Application: Recommended in lack of apetite, indigestion, whooping cough, tonsillitis, inflammation of the kidneys, liver and biliary diseases, inflammation of the eyes.

Effect: Increasing the appetite, diuretic.

Directions: Prepare a decoction of 1 teaspoon poured with 250 ml of boiling water and brew for 10 minutes. Strain. Drink the potion 80 ml 3 times daily.

* Externally – in diseases of the skin and for lavements in sore eyes.
