Applications: It is known as an ancient remedy for treatment of colds and coughs, has a calming effect on the body and thus helps with insomnia. Lemongrass tea relieves nausea, menstrual pain, acts as a diuretic. Also helps to detoxify the liver, pancreas, kidney, bladder and digestive tract.

Description: Lemongrass is a perennial herb widely spread  in the regions of Asia and the Caribbean. It is especially esteemed in Thai, Cambodian, Vietnamese and Indonesian cuisine. Generally defined the exotic grass adds lemon flavor and aroma to the dishes, but without adding the typical lemon sour taste. Finely chopped it can be taken raw, and cut into large pieces is used to impart flavor (they are removed after the dish is ready). It can also be dried and ground to a powder.

Usable parts: Usually Lemongrass is applied in teas, soups and curries, it is also suitable for poultry, fish, crabs, mussels and other seafood.
