Action: L-ornithine is an amino acid involved in urea production - an important cycle of a sequence of biochemical reactions that results in the transformation of ammonia into a form that is less toxic to the body. Insufficient levels of urea may cause some genetic disorders associated with metabolism or liver failure. L-ornithine is also needed to build up the immune system as well as the liver to purify and dispose of harmful ammonia compounds. This amino acid is also one of the few amino acids that have a role in growth hormone production and are used to increase muscle mass while decreasing body fat as well as promoting recovery from injuries.

One capsule formulation: L-ornithine - 300mg.

Recommended use: As a dietary supplement, take one capsule a day with meals.
