Urtica dioica L.

Application: In anemia, indigestion diarrhea, nosebleeds, heavy menstruation, hemorrhoids, kidney disease, in diabetes, chronic bronchitis, rheumatism, etc. Used as a diuretic agent.

Effect: Hemostatic, diuretic, demulcent, antianaemic.

Usage: Dried nettle leaves are used in the form of infusion at a daily dose of 4 teaspoons of leaves to 250 ml of boiling water. The infusion can be applied externally as well.

* In alopecia prepare decoction from 100 g of leaves, boiled for 30 minutes in a 1/2 liter of water and 1/2 liter of vinegar. With the potion wet the roots of the hair or rinse your hair before bedtime.
