Amorphophallus radix
Action: Glucomannan absorbs water in the stomach and intestines and forms a bulky fibers, which works well for constipation. It may also slow the absorption of sugar and cholesterol from the intestine which helps to control the level of glucose in diabetes, and is conducive to the reduction of cholesterol levels and body weight.
Application: A favorable in obesity, high blood sugar, LDL cholesterol.
Usage: 1 teaspoon mix with a glass of water and drink on an empty stomach in the morning. It can be taken continuously.
* In foods, the glucomannan is used as a thickener or gelling agent. For example, can be added instead of starch in creams and cakes, dishes.
* Does not contain sugar and gluten. Low-carb.
