Berberis vulgaris L.

Action: in problems with bile, stimulates appetite, a vasodilator, antispasmodic, tonic and astringent.

Application: When spasms of the gallbladder, gallstone disease and dyskinesias / folding / bile duct. Stimulates the secretion of bile. When inflammation of the kidney and bladder, stomach cramps, diarrhea, dysentery. Uterine bleeding, strengthen heart function or lowering blood pressure. In rheumatism, spikes, swelling, scrofula and others.

Externally used on cataracts and gingivitis.

Usage: 1 tablespoon roots boil 10 minutes in 500 ml of water. Drinks to 150 ml before meals 3 times daily.
