Application: In case of cough, chronic bronchitis, bronchial asthma, chronic inflammation of the gastrointestinal tract, dyspepsia, constipation.

Effect: Hyssop has an expectorant, anti-inflammatory effect.

Chemical composition of the herb hyssop: about 1% essential oil, the composition of which includes and pinocamphone pinene, cineol, camphene seskviterpeni. Hyssop contains tannins, oleanolic acid and urzolova, the flavonoid hesperidin, resins, sugars, glycosides diosmin, hizopin, organic acids and other substances.

Indications: Hyssop is used with success in chronic bronchitis, infections, and diseases of the upper respiratory system: asthma, cough. Recommended for colds with fever in children. In chronic red catarrh, colic and flatulence. Has an expectorant, anti-inflammatory effect.

How to use: Brew 1 tablespoon hyssop herb with 500 ml of boiling water. Drink hot, 1 /2 cup 3-4 times daily. Externally – for lavage of ulcers, wounds and for rinsing the mouth in case of inflammatory processes in the oral cavity and throat. Externally: gargle for tonsillitis, nervous exhaustion, skin eczema, rheumatism.
