Equisetum arvense L.
Application: In chronic kidney disease (sand and stones in kidneys), edema, high blood pressure, heart disease, liver disease, inflammation of the stomach, intestinal infections (bloody diarrhea), headache, sciatica, rheumatism, eczema, strengthens defensive power of the organism.
Effect: Diuretic, styptic, astringent, anti-inflammatory and re-mineralizing, analgesic.
Warning: Should not be used in renal inflammation, especially in the acute stages!
Individual intolerance to the herb is possible! Do not use in discomfort.
Directions: *Infusion – brew 2 teaspoons of the herb with 1/2 liter of boiling water. Drink in sips within 2 days. * Externally for gargle, compresses and lavement in the form of extract 1 tablespoon herb soaked for 30 min in 250 ml of hot water.
