Action: Astringent and and wound healing. Traditionally, Edelweiss teas and infusions of the herb is prepared with hot milk sweetened with honey for treatment of diarrhea and dysentery. The herb also proved useful in the fight against diseases such as tuberculosis and diphtheria.

Edelweiss extract is added to some cosmetics high class, as the natural compounds of Edelweiss have the ability to neutralize free radicals and prevent amplification of these super antioxidants involved in the aging process of the skin. The content in the herb Edelweiss bio-flavonoids, suggests use of the herb in preparations to strengthen the walls of blood vessels which is useful in the treatment of certain cardiovascular problems.

Preparation: 10 g herb is poured into a glass container with 100ml of 60% alcohol. Stayed in the dark 14 days, shaking periodically. Strain and squeeze. Pour the tincture in a dark bottle.
Use: 10-20 drops tincture 2 times a day in 100 ml of water at room temperature. Do not use the evening. / You can add 50 drops in 200 ml shower gel or shampoo for toning and anti-aging effect on the skin or hair /
