Application: In neurosis, in increased excitability, in Graves' disease (as adjuvant means) in climacteric nerve disorders, in hysteria, insomnia, migraine, cardiac neurosis with fast heart beat, extrasystoles and others. It is also used in hypertension, in spasm of the gastrointestinal tract, the bile ducts, etc.
Effect: Emollient. Weakens spasms of smooth muscle organs, regulates the activity of the heart.
Usage: Cold extract: pour 2 teaspoons root with 250 ml of cold water and allow to soak for 24 hours. Take 1 tablespoon 3-4 times a day. In increased excitability and insomnia drink tea from valerian root 1/3-1/2 cup 2-3 times a day.
