Application: ointments and lotions made from Arnica used for the treatment of contusions, sprains, rheumatism, varicose veins, as well as various skin infections caused by bacteria and fungi (molds). The active ingredients of this plant have a slight anti-inflammatory, analgesic (pain-stop) and antiseptic action.
In the Mexican traditional medicine, a tea from the Mexican Arnica was traditionally taken to treat nervous disorders, stomachaches and fever.
How to use:
* Applies a spirituous tincture of flowers (1: 5) internally 30-40 drops three times daily and externally for compresses and wash in higher dilution.
* Applies an oily extract from the flowers (1: 3), was heated in a water bath with olive oil for 20-30 minutes. Sitting 24 hours and squeeze nice and strain. With the resulting oil extract is brushed sick places 2 times a day, morning and evening.
* Infusions - 1 teaspoon brewed with 400 ml of boiling water for 15 minutes. Strain. Drink for three times a day for 100 ml before meals for a month.
Warnings: Arnica is not poisonous plant, but possible allergenic reactions. Internal use of this plant is not recommended for children under 16 years. Arnica is most favorable to use for outdoor use.
