Action: Pancreatin is a combination of several digestive enzymes produced by Pancreas (pancreas). It helps to fill the low levels of these enzymes in order for normal nutrient decomposition to occur in the stomach. It also helps with food allergies, small bowel disorders, autoimmune diseases and weight loss. Pancreatin is composed of the enzymes trypsin, amylase and lipase. Trypsin helps digest proteins to oligopeptides, amylase breaks down starch to oligosaccharides and disaccharide maltose, and lipase breaks down triglycerides into fatty acids and glycerols.
